      3. Right mouse click on the video
      4. Select Copy Embedded Code -- it will automatically put it on your clipboard.

On YouTube you click on Share then on the menu look for Embed which should open a second window. If you’re using MS Edge it may cut off the Copy button so you would have to manually …LT just beat me to it! lol, good one LT

Tom, how do I post a link?

    • LakerTom (Publisher) 11:13 AM on July 5, 2018 Permalink | Log in to Reply

Best way is to post a tweet to the story, Seely. You can do that two ways. First, is copy the headline for the story you want to link to and paste it into the search window in Twitter. The select a Tweet to the article that you like, open the tweet, copy the URL at the top of the page, and paste that into the body of the post.
If you want, you can copy and paste a paragraph or two from the article to make a point and add a headline for the blog. The Tweet and your comments will then appear as a post in the blog.

If you have a Twitter account, you can also just click the Bird symbol on the page where the story is and it will open a window to let you create a new Tweet to the story. You then post that Tweet to the blog. Let me know if you still have questions. Just test it out. If it doesn’t work, don’t worry. I’ll clean it up.

Finally someone I looked into. He’s another shooter. Although a lot of guys thought Randle had short arms with a 6’ 11” wing span. This guy has a 6’ 5” wingspan.

Or stashed. Actually all 3 are international players and could conceivably be stashed. Gives them flexibility.

Raise you’re hand if you saw this one coming. 2nd round in most mocks. But with the track record of our scouting department I’m not question it. There also could be a trade coming also.

He played his heart out. If that’s the criteria then there are a lot of players in the league that played 2 years for a team that won nothing that should get a tribute video. I’m not taking anything away from him, I realize what he played through physically and mentally. His unsuccessful short stint doesn’t warrant a video tribute. It’s just silly in my opinion and even more ridiculous to plan it on PPs jersey retirement night.

Rondo made that last Championship Celtic team work. He was the orchestrator and a true champion.

Yes, that’s a good way to look at it. Despite Nance’s defense and constant energy, some of us have lamented on his scoring shortcomings. We can use the pick to pick a player who’s more 3 and D. What I’m sad most is to see the great positive energy that he is as a person, now in Cleveland.

They had to attach Nance and his salary to trade Clarkson and get the first round pick in return. This was an excellent trade by any standard.

I just love lurking on the Boston Celtics blog when they lose a game to the Lakers. Oh, the angst. But they also have very savvy fans who appreciate the history of the rivalry and recognize that our young team played well last night. Whatever we do, do not trade Randle to the Celtics who really like him as a player.

    • LakerTom (Publisher) 12:18 PM on January 24, 2018 Permalink | Log in to Reply

Julius would be great on Celtics but Smart would also be great on Lakers. The reality is both would be better fits on the other’s team. Overall, I thought the Lakers’ young stars looked better than the Celtics’ young players. We won despite free throws and missing Lonzo.

We keep hearing what a great roster the Celtics have but I think they’re overrated and are falling back to earth. IT was probably a better fit than Kyrie, who can’t do it all alone without LeBron. Kuzma > Tatum, Ingram > Brown. Celtics need Haywood to move to the next level.

Totally agree, we already have Lonzo. Smart doubles-down on the ‘can do everything but shoot’ skill set we have in both KCP and Ball.

          • LakerTom (Publisher) 12:31 PM on January 24, 2018 Permalink | Log in to Reply

With his defense, he would be a great backup point guard,
Backup point guard is important as a 6th man in today’s NBA.
Lakers need backup point guard more than third power forward.

But I too would love to keep Randle. He is a unicorn in his own way.

            • LakerTom (Publisher) 12:36 PM on January 24, 2018 Permalink

The only reason to NOT trade for PG at the deadline would be if you wanted to keep all the kids and just sign PG as your one max contract free agent. Frankly, I could support that option or one where Cousins was the one max contract. Just don’t think Magic and Rob would but maybe we can keep this streak going and change their minds.

Maybe. I think he’s all in on the Celtics and they seem all in on him. Randle does make sense, for them, he makes a lot sense for us. We already have KCP, Ennis, Caruso and Clarkson. Unless there’s something major going on with that knee I think we have enough guards who can’t shoot. His defense is better than all of theirs, except maybe KCP, but that’s where it ends.

That is exactly the path I hope the team treads. Swap Cousins for George, though, and roll with Ingram improving.
