Thought u’d like it, Sean. I’ve luv’d his game since his days at LSU when he teamed up with Shaq right up to when he was forced outta the Association. And I have no doubt he can probably still ball better than alotta the current NBA players.

        Yup.

This is a principled, man, a man of character. He was mistreated by not only Dan Issel but by the NBA as far as I’m concerned. Same with Craig Hodges. There’s right and wrong. Both men were treated wrongly

Well, yeah … that, too. But he has to develop some kinda shot that he can consistently knockdown or else defenses won’t respect him and will just sag in the paint making it difficult to open up lanes for him and his teammates to attack the rim. Get stronger and work hard on that damm shot, Zo.

Be a lot easier to root for them s team if it wasn’t for Nutshot Green, no respect for that classless dill hole. One can only hope he finds the help that Ron Artest did and Dennis Rodman never did but who knows.

Regardless, they have the best team with best cap situation and are set for a good long while. Laker fans can’t grouse that much, we’ve been the Warriors many times over. Hopefully will be again, soon.

I think LeBron is going to copy KD and join the Celtics. Sign and trade with Cavs. Three team trade where Lakers get Kyrie Irving., Cavs get Hayward and Ingram, Celtics get LeBron.

That is one crazy scenario, LT, but it is the NBA so I figure it’s within the realm of plausible. What makes you think LBJ will do Gilbert any favors at all? Or the Celtics do us that favor?

MongoSlade 11:31 PM on June 8, 2018 Permalink | Log in to Reply

Celts don’t have the cap space to sign Lebron so the only way to get there is thru a trade. That ain’t doing Gilbert a favor; it’s just the price that has to be paid if he wants to go to the Celts. And no way are him & Kyrie playing together so he’s gotta go too. I think the Lakers with Lebron & PG13 are a better team than Lebron & the Celts youngins minus Kyrie & Hayward.

The only way LeBron can go to a team like the Rockets or Warriors or Celtics is via a sign-and-trade, which Gilbert has to agree to as well as LeBron. The quid pro quo would be getting something back when LeBron leaves. Gordon Hayward, Marcus Morris, and a first rounder.

Hard-fought contest so far, KD’s been virtually unstoppable, but he needs a lil help from Steph and Klay. The ‘others’ have stepped up so far in support of Bron, we’ll see if they can sustain it next half. Good game.

Everything turned in game one with Hill choke and Smith choke and Liu choke. Although Cavs playing with house money. Four All Star beat two everytime. Good for Steve Kerr!

If Steph doesn’t come in with weak ankles, if Klay doesn’t become Klay, if they don’t pull Draymond outta nowhere, if Iggy doesn’t join at a discount . . . . lotta breaks came their way. In the cap era, you can’t just land one transcendent guy and buy the rest of the roster. You gotta be more lucky than good.

Because their defensive rotations stink as evidenced by all the wide open dunks & layups from McGee & Bell any time the Cavs D had to scramble even a lil bit

Since the Cavs beat the Dubs in 7 the Dubs replaced Harrison Barnes with KD while the Cavs replaced Kyrie with George Hill. I’m shocked we’ve gotten 2 close games outta this thing.
