There’s no way Steve Nash comes back after this season and Kobe Bryant is nearing the end of his career, which means that the Los Angeles Lakers will have to start adding some youth at guard.

Dante Exum is one of the most exciting potential prospects to be selected in June, assuming he declares. He’s a 6’6” point guard that can score and create separation with his explosiveness while the ball is in his hands.  Picture him as this upcoming draft’s Michael Carter-Williams, except a better scorer.

There’s going to be a lot of rebuilding for Los Angeles after this season.  So many players will become free agents after this season, bringing up questions about who will actually stay.  The Lakers will need another playmaker, and Exum has the potential to be that for this team.
