Could Lakers get Grizzies #4 pick in return for taking Parsons 2-year $47M contract?

From my article above -- What a Kawhi Trade Means for Lakers
“The Lakers could also use the $20–25 million in cap space to take on salary in a trade. The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking to trade the #4 pick in the draft to a team to absorb Chandler Parsons 2-year $47 million contract. The Lakers could swoop in and steal Mo Bamba as their center of the future. Parsons contract could also be waived and stretched so the hit would drop from $24.1 million to $9.4 million, leaving $10–15 million that could be used elsewhere.”
It’s the ability to think outside the box and makes moves like this to land potential franchise center who would be able to defend the rim like Gobert, switch everything like Draymond, shoot the three like Embid, and finish at the rim like Griffin. Make the trade and then W&S Parsons or work out a buyout you get what many scouts are calling the perfect modern NBA center. Sign Lopez for the room to mentor him and in a year or two you have the center who could dominate the Warriors. That’s a lot of money to pay but we have it and could do it.

Are they taking Deng off our hands???
If not, there’s no way this happens.

No, they’re not taking Deng off our hands. That’s why we’re $10M short of what we would need to sign LeBron and PG. You get a choice of LeBron + $20M to spend or PG and $25M to spend. We end up with two superstars and $20-25M to spend to build a bench. We lose Ingram, Hart, and the 2019 pick.
