Do not mean to barge in our Music Fest, but if all haven’t been watching OKC, uh, they ain’t bad. Brewer was a great fit for them. They gonna put some team to the test.

And Lakers fans were worried that trading Nance and Clarkson to the Cavs would hurt our chances of landing LeBron. Buying out Brewer so he could sign with OKC might hurt our chances to sign PG.

Really??? Come on.
They aren’t good enough to go deep into the playoffs.
I think PG only considers staying if they make the Finals and that’s not going to happen.
Even if he doesn’t come, I will be fine rolling with most of what we already have next year.

Me too, can’t hardly wait for 4 more years of .500 ball, sarcasm. Go big or stay home.

So you want to let Randle walk and sign LeQueen and PG?
The only way we get all three is by giving up one of young guns and a first rounder to move Deng.
That means losing Hart or Kuzma.
I’m not down with that.
I’m not down

Why do we care about a “stinkin” salary cap! Lol! I want my Maypo!

So basically, you’re chosing Josh Hart over LeBron Mufukkin James?
C’mon now…..

Mr. McLyne, I was just throwing it out there, but Brewer has clearly been a “perfect fit” with OKC. I’m happy for him. As for the rest of the conversation, I’m with you. Fans who can’t accept the inevitable after the 2011 CBA and nixing of the CP3 deal are unrealistic and impatient. I think that Luke is cultivating a potentially great team and I hope more than anything that we retain Julius Randle. That alone will make me happy especially if we keep most of this band together.

Brewer is a big improvement over Roberson because he’s an actual threat on offense while being a decent defender. Doesn’t hurt that he’s reunited with his college coach who he had so much success with.
OKC is 5-2 vs GSW, HOU, & TOR…btw

Saw that. They are playing well.

Neither GSW or SAS are firing on all cylinders. Houston will be the tougher challenge IF CP3 remains healthy. Gonna be an interesting playoff this year. Portland, Minny and NO are all capable of playing the spoiler role, too.

We’ll see. The playoffs are a different animal and the Rockets have overachievers James Harden and Chris Paul, not to mention head coach Mike D’Antoni, leading them. If healthy, I’ll take the defending champs.
tate793 9:00 AM on March 19, 2018 Permalink
And, that’s the big caveat. The defending champs aren’t healthy. Their injuries (high ankle sprain, fractured rid cartlidge and broken thumb) could significantly impair their games. You’re right, the playoffs are a different animal. MDA and CP3 both seem to wilt, one way or another, in the postseason. Based on that, Russ and PG13 have both gone deep before. Again, gonna be an interesting post season.
